So the Films lied?! *cries*... ah well I think we will have "film" scaled raptors then. Mind you, a christmas turkey with razor sharp claws, talons and teeth would still be scary

That would probably be best and balanced too in some ways. Velo's would be too small and weak and would make it too easy for players to kill them, Utah raptor's would be too big and easily over power the players and make it too hard. The inbetween "movie" like raptor's are best as they are in between difficult and challenge.
The majority of people that automatically hear Raptor, instantly think Jurassic Park Raptors anyway so it would benefit the mod if it was kept simple yet interesting at least.

Well, we are a Jurassic park mod. Hence why we are using the Jurassic Park raptors...no reason why we shouldn't. The books and films never had the "real" raptors.

www.fossils-as-art.com/desc_image/carnotaurus.jpgShould put Carnotosaurus in the game as a medium sized predator instead of a Utah Raptor. In The Lost World book they were almost like chamelons and could change their skin tone to match the night time foilage and buildings around the island easily.

Some more dinosaurs Ive been thinking about, and should eventually be added.
Composagnathus/Procomposagnathus: In the movies theyre the chicken sized compys(1-2ft), in the books theyre Procomposagnathus, different species, and theyre more turkey sized then chiken, so a bit bigger(3-4ft). In the book the procompys are venomous and when bitten can start to cause paralysis. This can be implemented into the game in that when bitten by one, theres a chance you may start to slow down or start to loose your ability to sprint for a short while. They should never attack unless in large numbers, even if provoked; if alone or in small numbers they should almost always avoid and run from the player.
Dilophosaurus: 2 different classes of this species might be good to go on; the small, frilled, spitting version seen in the movie, about 6-9ft in length and a larger more reality based one, Thats a light/medium sized predator bout 15-20ft long. the larger dilophosaur should probably keep the spitting ability which causes blindless or blurred vision for a set period of time, but would use it less often due to its larger stature.
Pachycephalosaurus: Extremely territorial herbivore, seen in TLW movie. bout 10-15ft in length. Charges straight forward into the player and rams its thick skull against them, which ould launch the player back and may cause broken ribs/bones.
